Nutty Banana Ice Cream
This ice cream is so easy to make and is a delicious treat throughout the day or after dinner.
Ingredients:
4 ripe banana’s (frozen)
1 cup raw cashews
1/2 cup Almond Spread
1/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup hulled tahini
2 tsp vanilla bean extract
1 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground sea salt
Optional - crushed raw cashews, cacao nibs, cacao powder or bits of dark chocolate
Method
Place all ingredients except for any optional ingredients into a food processor and process until creamy. Scraping down the sides a couple of times as needed.
Taste. If you prefer more sweetness then add a small amount of maple syrup and blend through
Mix in by hand any or multiple of the optional ingredients listed or add any you like to taste.
Serve immediately
Note: if you have frozen the bananas with the skin on allow to defrost for a few minutes to make them easier to peel
Store in an airtight container and transfer to the freezer. Remove 15-20 mins before eating.
